C. Dan Lanham
GRITS Transit System Director
Education
- Lanham holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Western
Kentucky University.
Experience
- He was previously corporate secretary, treasurer and project manager for
Lanham General Contractors, a family-owned business. He worked in the business
since 1973 and oversaw numerous projects in the eastern half of the United
States.
Additional Information
- Lanham joins Audubon Area Community Services' Green River Intra-county Transit
System (GRITS) Transit operation May 1, 2006.
- He has volunteered extensively with many organizations in Owensboro and
Daviess County, including Junior Achievement and Leadership Owensboro —
both of which he served as board chair, the Preservation Alliance and the
Boulware Center Mission.
- He is current chairman for the Green River Workforce Development Board with
the Green River Area Development District and the Housing Maintenance Appeals
Board with the City of Owensboro
- He also serves with Western Kentucky University’s extended campus
in Owensboro.
- Lanham and his wife, Nancy, have three children, ages 18, 14 and 11.
