Child Care Development Block Grant  ...  $5,250,000

The Commoinwealth of Kentucky received $30 million additional funding under ARRA. The state has chosen to expend all the additional monies to child care payments. 

The Commonwealth has the sole responsibility for reporting expenditures and services under its CCDBG award. While AACS AACS, Inc. staff are responsible for processing eligibility and expenditures within its Service Region, it will render no ARRA-specific reports on those services and expenditures.

The eligibility for services under Kentucky's Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) is 150% of poverty.

Audubon Area's 34-county "Service Region" usually gets 17.5% of the statewide total in child care payments, which amounts to some $5,250,000 expected to come to AACS' region.
