Counseling Services

This program consists of Family Preservation, Family Reunification, F.A.C.T.S., and KISP. After receiving a referral from Community Based Services, the programs' therapists work in the home to help families become more stable. During the intervention, therapists help the family set goals, provide concrete services, teach skills, set up and meet medical and social services appointments, make contacts for long term services, and encourages the families. FACTS is similar to Family Preservation and Family Reunification, but for families who meet financial need requirements.

Family Preservation covers the seven county Green River Area, while Family Reunification covers two Green River Area counties (Daviess and Henderson). KISP serves all of Kentucky except three northern Kentucky counties.

KISP, known as Kentucky Intensive Services Program comes to Audubon Area.
Audubon provides services to 14 Kentucky counties with KISP which is funded through the Department of Justice. The program helps divert youths from residential placement by using an array of interventions and providing an intensive level of home-based services for the juvenile offenders and their families.
