This project consist of 34 units which eighty percent of the units will serve individuals 55 years of age and older and fifty percent of the units are set-aside for special needs individuals, some individuals will meet both special needs and elderly classification.  All the units are two bedrooms and are 953 square feet per unit.  Amenities include a range, refrigerator, dishwasher, washer/dryer hookups, security alarm, and help call system.  All utilities are paid by the project.
 
There are two (2) four-plex buildings on the site and one (1) large two story elevator building containing 26 units.  The community area is in this building along with a computer lab with equipment, grandchild’s playroom with equipment, exercise room with equipment, and kitchen and dining area.  The outdoor area includes a playground with swing set, jungle gym, basketball court and toddler play area, recreation area including benches, gazebo, grill area, and game area.
 
Audubon Area Community Services, Inc.successful and long term operation as a community service provider brings a wealth of services that will aid this tenant population and plans on developing relationships on with other area non-profit organizations to provide an empowered and active elderly development.
