RSVP provides opportunities for seniors to use their knowledge and life experiences to help meet local critical needs by volunteering at many diverse non-profit organizations.
In one year RSVP organized 390 volunteers in the seven county area donating over 69,000 hours of service to communities.
The Senior Companion Program is a volunteer program for low-income seniors to aid the frail, and homebound elderly. Senior Companions assist and encourage independent living in an effort to prevent or delay institutionalization.
In one year 101 Senior Companions served over 84,000 hours in Daviess, Hancock, Henderson, Ohio, McLean, Union and Webster Counties.
