At Audubon Area Community Services we know safe and affordable housing is a cornerstone for individuals and families facing poverty. Access to affordable housing not only provides stability, security, it also reduces the financial burden on low-income households, allowing them to allocate resources towards other critical needs such as healthcare, education, and nutrition. Our seven properties each offer a supportive community environment, enabling residents to thrive and break the cycle of poverty.
Nestled in the heart of Owensboro, Lincolnshire Apartments and Independence Heights welcome single adults and families of all ages. The Learning Villa Scholar House, also in Owensboro, is a supportive haven for full-time college students with at least one dependent child, offering programs designed to help them successfully complete their education. For our cherished seniors aged 55 and older, President's Place and Horizon Place in Owensboro, along with Mya Manor in Beaver Dam, provide comfortable living spaces, with some units specially reserved for seniors with disabilities. Our communities are dedicated to fostering a nurturing environment for all residents.

Independence Heights
Independence Heights is a 24 2-bedrooms one bath complex located at 2400 Strawbridge Place, Owensboro. Each apartment offers a stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, washer/dryer hookup. President's Place
President’s Place has 30 one-bedroom units and 30 two-bedroom units for adult seniors. The lounge for residents includes internet connections and an exercise room.
Logsdon Center is the community Center onsite at the President’s Place Senior Services site. This serves as the manager offices for President Place, as well as the site for a general community center and non-profit start-up hub that we use to support fledgling non-profits throughout our community.

The Learning Villa Scholar House
Located at 2245 East 18th Street, Owensboro, The Learning Villa Scholar House is a 56 two-bedroom apartment complex for low-income single and married couples enrolled as full-time students in a post-secondary educational institution. Each unit offers a range, refrigerator, dishwasher, washer and dryer.
A community building with computer lab and an Audubon Area Head Start child care facility are located on the site. Utilities are included in the rent. Income guidelines apply, call for more information.
